Community organisations across West Norfolk are being invited to apply for a share of £115,000 in grant funding for local projects and activities.
The latest funding round from the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk is open to charities, constituted voluntary and community groups, social enterprises and community interest companies.
A total of £50,000 is available for capital grants of up to £10,000, which can support projects including equipment purchases, building works and refurbishment. Capital funding can cover up to 50% of the total cost of a project.
A further £15,000 has been allocated for revenue grants of up to £2,500 to support activities and operational costs.
An additional £50,000 has been ring-fenced specifically for projects in rural and coastal communities.
Councillor Chris Morley, the borough council’s Cabinet Member for Finance, said the funding was intended to provide practical support for organisations of all sizes, from small clubs delivering regular activities to larger groups working on long-term projects.
He said particular emphasis was being placed on rural and coastal areas, where additional investment could have a significant impact.
Applications must be submitted by 31 August 2026, with a panel due to consider submissions and award funding in October.
