A total of 90 jobs are being created as a new McDonalds comes to West Norfolk.
It opens in December in Fakenham next to Lidl.
The new restaurant will be the 15th to open which is owned by the family run McDonalds franchise group K Foley Ltd.
Kevin Foley, who became the UK’s first second-generation McDonalds franchisee in 1999, said: “We are delighted to be opening our 15th restaurant in Fakenham and to be creating 90 new roles in the local community.
“For us, McDonalds has always been about more than serving burgers – it’s about opportunities, teamwork and being part of a family. We look forward to welcoming our new recruits and becoming part of the Fakenham community.”
K Foley Ltd currently operates 14 McDonalds restaurants across Norfolk and the wider East of England, employing more than 1,100 people. Staff range in age from 16 to 80, with many going on to build long-term careers within the business.
The new Fakenham branch will bring further career and development opportunities, with recruitment beginning next week.
Roles are open to people of all ages and backgrounds, with full training and flexible working available.
The Foley family has been intertwined with the McDonalds brand since the 1970s, when Kevin’s father, Terry Foley, became the first UK company employee to be granted a franchise.
Kevin went on to follow in his footsteps, cementing the family’s place as pioneers in the UK’s franchising story.
