Appeal following fatal collision in King’s Lynn

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in King’s Lynn.

The incident occurred at 2.36pm yesterday (Wednesday 5 April 2023) on the Hardwick roundabout, King’s Lynn when a black BMW 3 series collided with a green BMW 3 series.

Sadly, the driver of the green BMW, a man aged in 70s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other driver, a man aged in his 80s, was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital with serious injuries, where he remains.

Road closures were in place whilst emergency services, including Ambulance and Fire, attended the scene.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has any dashcam footage of the incident is asked to contact Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 101, quoting reference NC-05042023-248 or email SCIU@norfolk.police.uk.
