A charity which helps young people in West Norfolk with their mental health and wellbeing has won a national award.
MAP was named the overall winner of the 2022 GSK Impact Awards.
It has a centre in King’s Lynn as well as other sites across Norfolk and supported 4000 young people countywide last year.
Judges praised its work supporting young people with a range of issues, helping with transport, and making sure 11 to 19 year-olds have a voice in a number of organisations.
Dan Mobbs, Chief Executive of MAP, said: ‘It is amazing to be chosen as the overall winner from a group of charities all doing such brilliant work. It means so much to our team to have our work recognised and we hope that this award will help us to continue to raise the profile of young people’s mental health and allow us to support even more young people and involve them in shaping services. We really are changing the world from Norfolk.’
