Children across West Norfolk are being encouraged to borrow lots of books this summer holidays for the Gadgeteers Summer Reading Challenge.
The area’s libraries are supporting the national campaign which this year aims to encourage kids to read about science and innovation.
Children can set their own reading challenges and are rewarded each time they finish a book.

Margaret Dewsbury, the county councillor responsible for Communities and Partnerships, said: “Last year nearly three quarters of children who took part improved their reading skills.
“This scheme is a fun way of overcoming the summer reading dip that children can experience, making sure they are fully prepared for the new school year ahead.”
