Police are appealing for witnesses following a dog attack in Hunstanton last Friday (30 April 2021) which left a woman with bite wounds to her hand.
The incident happened on Old Hunstanton Beach between 3.30pm and 3.45pm as the victim, a woman in her 30s, walked her terrier.
Another dog, described as a pitbull, being walked by a man grabbed the terrier causing puncture wounds to his neck and back.
The woman made attempts to separate the dogs and in doing so suffered a number of cuts to her hands, which required hospital treatment. The terrier also needed veterinary treatment for his wounds.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information concerning the pitbull and its owner.
