A 39-year-old man has pleaded guilty to three offences of death by dangerous driving relating to a fatal collision on the A47Â between Middleton and Kings Lynn.
Aurelijus Cielevicius, of John Street, King’s Lynn, appeared at Norwich Crown Court  on 14 February 2023 where he admitted three counts of death by dangerous driving relating to a collision on the evening of Sunday 15 January 2023 which resulted in the deaths of three people.
Toxicology results, taken following the collision, read out at the plea hearing, found ketamine in his system as well as other drugs.
Detective Inspector Dave McCormack, leading the investigation, said: “Toxicology reports found traces of drugs in his blood stream and the results are consistent with the prior use of methylamphetamine, cannabis and mephedrone prior to the collision happening. Although ketamine was also present, this could have been administered by medical staff after the collision as part of their treatment.”
