Enjoy yourself safely, when lockdown eases on Monday

Enjoy yourself safely and keep following the rules when shops, libraries, and other venues start to reopen from Monday.

That’s the message from Norfolk County Council after the Government confirmed the next step of its roadmap out of lockdown can take place on 12th April.

This means non-essential shops, libraries, gyms, hairdressers, self-catering accommodation and other venues can reopen

Diane Steiner, Norfolk’s deputy director of public health, said: “We’re all looking forward to the next step out of lockdown.

“If we want this to run smoothly, we need to keep following the rules – washing your hands, keeping your distance, only meeting people outside, and observing the rule of six people or two families.”

Norfolk’s current Covid case rate is 22 per 100,000, down from 38.1 the previous week.
