Knitting & Crochet with The Bridge for Heroes

Description

We have an active group of ‘yarn enthusiasts’ who meet on a Tuesday morning at the Bridge Centre. Whether you’re a knitter or a crocheter, experienced or beginner, you are welcome to join in. The group produce a variety of items, from blankets to soldier keyrings, some of which we are able to donate to other causes.

The Bridge for Heroes’ mission is to support members of the Armed Forces Community (serving, veterans and their families) by providing positive social engagement, in a safe and welcoming environment, along with information, advice, guidance and activities that support mental and physical health and well-being.
