The Old A17 is currently (17:14) closed between Clenchwarton and Terrington St Clement due to a fire at a junkyard. Emergency services are on the scene, the Norfolk Fire Service were called at 16:35 and, King’s Lynn Police have asked residents of local villages, and King’s Lynn to keep all windows closed for the time being.
Plumes of smoke have been seen in town, and Gaywood, the smell is traveling too. The picture above shows the scale, taken from Tesco Hardwick.
