If you know someone who is nervous about going online or does not know where to start, free workshops are being held in West Norfolk to help.
Drop-in sessions will run offering basic digital skills, how to identify scams, and advice on using the internet, as well as some one-to-one support if you need it.
They will be happening at King’s Lynn library on Mondays between 11am and 1pm. 1:1 support can be booked by speaking with a staff member or calling 01553 772568
Margaret Dewsbury, the county councillor responsible for communities and partnerships, said: “We’ve been running these courses for a few months now and the feedback we’ve had has been positive. In an ever-increasing digital world, it’s really important that people feel able and confident to access online services, from banking and food shopping, through to identifying scams and understanding what information to trust, these free sessions across the county are a great way to boost your confidence.”
