Norfolk residents are being invited to share their views on the county’s 19 recycling centres as Norfolk County Council launches its annual Recycling Centre Satisfaction Survey.
In 2025/26, the centres processed nearly 56,000 tonnes of household waste, with more than 75.14% successfully diverted from general waste disposal.
The survey launched today (Thursday 17 September) and is a key opportunity for residents to share their experiences, suggest improvements, and help shape the future of the service.
Councillor Pat Gould, Norfolk County Council’s cabinet member for countryside, coast and culture, said: “Our recycling centres provide an important service for communities across Norfolk, and we want to make sure they continue to meet residents’ needs.
“Hearing directly from people who use our centres, as well as those who don’t, helps us understand what we’re doing well and where we could make things better. I’d encourage everyone to take a few minutes to share their views.”
Whether you’re a regular visitor or have never used a recycling centre before, your feedback matters. The short online questionnaire takes just a few minutes to complete and is open to everyone.
The survey is open until midnight on 18 October, and responses will help the council identify opportunities to improve the service and understand any barriers that may prevent people from using the centres.
