Hopkins Homes Pulls Out of First Phase of 4,000-Home West Winch Scheme

Hopkins Homes has withdrawn from the first phase of the proposed West Winch housing development, a major scheme that includes plans for up to 4,000 homes and a new link road between the A10 and A47.

West Norfolk Council said it is not unusual for developers to change during large projects of this scale. The authority added that planning permission is attached to the land itself, meaning another housebuilder could step in to take the scheme forward.

However, West Winch Parish Council has voiced concerns about rising infrastructure costs associated with the development.
