James Wild MP will stand as the Conservative Party candidate for North West Norfolk at the next General election after local party members unanimously backed his re-adoption.
Since being elected in 2019, James has worked hard on the issues he pledged to focus on: improving the local area including securing a commitment to a new QEH, £25 million Town Deal, supporting local employers and farmers, protecting the countryside and coast, campaigning for better digital and transport infrastructure, and helping thousands of constituents with individual casework.
Speaking after his re-adoption, James Wild MP said:
“It is a privilege to be the Member of Parliament for North West Norfolk and to be a strong voice for our area. I am delighted to have been readopted as, whenever the next election comes, there remains much important work to do in championing West Norfolk, ensuring further investment into our economy, helping constituents with issues they face, and making our area an even better place to live, work, and visit.”
Bill Irwin, Chairman of the North West Norfolk Conservative Association said:
“Our members strongly support James as he has shown through his hard work and commitment, his passion for helping local people and bringing more investment and opportunity to our area.”
