King’s Lynn will reveal its speedway riders for the next season on Thursday December 2 and is promising some new faces.
Boss Alex Brady said: “We are making new signings to give the team a fresh feel. We already have Richard Lawson, Thomas Jorgensen and Lewi Kerr on board and the remaining riders will be largely made up of guys who have never raced for King’s Lynn before.
“We wanted to make the announcement in front of our loyal fans who stuck with us during such a tough 2021 season
“I’m very confident the fans will be delighted with what we’ve got. It’s taken quite an effort to get to where we wanted to be and hours and hours of negotiations. One day I left the stadium feeling quite deflated but then a few hours later things had started coming together.
“We’ll have a combination of riders present along with Dale Allitt and myself so I’m really looking forward to a great night – and the best thing is admission is free and the bar will be open!”
Meanwhile TV duo Kelvin Tatum and Nigel Pearson bring their stage show back to Lynn on Wednesday December 8, with admission just £5 on the door.
The duo have always proved popular at the venue and this will be their first show since the pandemic began.
“We decided to take the winter off in 2019/2020 so we’re excited to be back,” said Tatum.
“King’s Lynn have always made us welcome and we are looking forward to going back there. I’m sure there will be a good turnout and we always have a good night there. I’m looking forward to meeting fans and I’ll be signing books before the show, during the interval and afterwards.”
