A man has been arrested after police were called to a property in Wisbech in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Officers were contacted at around 1.40am after a woman reported she had been assaulted. During the 999 call, she also said she had received threats.
A 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm and making threats to kill. He has since been released on bail while enquiries continue.
