A man has been charged in connection with the robbery of an electric bike in West Norfolk.
Police were called to Hulton Road in Gaywood, King’s Lynn, just before 5pm on Thursday 4 April 2024 to reports that a man had been assaulted and had his electric bike stolen.
A man in his 20s was arrested in the early hours of the following morning and taken to King’s Lynn Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
Subsequently, Nicholas Humphries, aged 27, of Eastfields, King’s Lynn was charged with robbery and remanded in custody to appear at Norwich Crown Court on 6 April 2024. He was then further remanded in custody by the courts to appear at Norwich Crown Court on 7 May 2024.
The electric bike stolen during the incident has been recovered and returned to the owner.
