Mayor’s Park Run

Cllr Harry Humphrey, Mayor of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk nominated two charities for his year, they were West Norfolk Young Carers, and The Magpie Centre – West Norfolk Riding for the Disabled, both of which are close to his heart.  Due to Covid, some fundraising events that might have taken place were not possible, so now he is fundraising for them by taking part in the Parkrun Kings Lynn on Saturday 7th May and is asking for your support.

West Norfolk Carers is a small independent charity, with a strong history of supporting unpaid carers and their families and they give great support to young carers who give vital care to their families.

The Magpie Centre – West Norfolk Riding for the Disabled, provides therapy, achievement and enjoyment to people with disabilities and offers equestrian activities to all age groups and, wherever possible, to people with any disability.
