There’s more family-friendly entertainment and classic cars on display in the Tuesday Market Place, King’s Lynn, this weekend. Also, additional spaces have been released to display classic cars but owners need to register quickly.
Cllr Graham Middleton, Deputy Leader and Cabinet member for Business, Culture and Heritage, explains: “Last weekend hundreds of families enjoyed music from the Boogie Monsters and the Sharringtons, alongside 150 Minis for our Mini Meet.
“This weekend, on Saturday, we have another great family show from The Time Machine plus children can learn circus skills and enjoy bubbleology between 10am and 4pm.
“On Sunday it’s the return of the popular Classic Car Day, during Heritage Open Day, and I’m pleased to say that we’ve released an additional 20 spaces for classic car owners to fill.”
Classic car owners have until noon on Wednesday 8 September to register through the borough council website at west-norfolk.gov.uk/classiccarday.
Cllr Middleton added: “The borough council has organised events and activities every weekend since we moved to step 4 of the roadmap in July. They’re aimed at encouraging people back into King’s Lynn and have been made possible by the Welcome Back funding given to us by the Government and the European Regional Development Fund.”
Details of further events taking place in September can be found at west-norfolk.gov.uk/events.
