Nicola Ellis is the new chief executive of Norfolk Hospice Tapping House.
She has worked for the West Norfolk organisation for nine years and has developed a reputation as one of the region’s leading voices in palliative and end-of-life care, as well as ensuring more co-ordinated working.
Nicola, who takes over from current boss Lyndsay Carter in June, also wants to develop the hospice’s strong reputation for delivering excellent care.
She said: “I’d like to formally thank Lyndsay for her commitment and determination to bring the highest standards of care to West Norfolk and to raise the profile of The Norfolk Hospice Tapping House within the community.
“She has created and developed the most incredible team of staff and volunteers and I am delighted to have been offered the opportunity to lead the organisation. I am committed to further developing the excellent end of life care services within this part of the county and continuing to build on our reputation as a great place to work.”
