Proposals for a new commercial building on the Hardwick Narrows in King’s Lynn could create 15 jobs.
Ponders End Investments Plc (PEI Plc), a branded sportswear wholesaler, is seeking planning permission for the development at Gardman, in Hamlin Way.
A report supporting the application said the company bought the site in 2018 with Gardman Garden Buildings as a tenant.
It took over the “tired building” in 2019 and had invested heavily in the site since then, the report to West Norfolk Council said.
PEI Plc directly employs 65 people at the site and it is expected that 15 new staff will be employed in connection with PEI Plc’s use of the new building, planning documents state.
