Norfolk Fire Service Invests £50,000 in Six New Water Rescue Boats

Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service has bought six new water rescue boats to boost its emergency response across the county.

Just over £50,000 has been spent on the trailer-mounted craft, which are being fitted with additional equipment before going into service.

The boats will replace the current fleet at stations including King’s Lynn and Dereham, with another based at the Training and Development Centre in Bowthorpe.

The service says they’ll support inland rescues and flooding incidents.
