Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault that happened along the A149 at King’s Lynn yesterday (Thursday 10 June).
The incident happened at approximately 1.15pm when a silver Toyota was being driven on the A149 between the Hardwick roundabout, towards the Queen Elizabeth Hospital roundabout. A woman was sitting in the back drivers side passenger seat with the window open when she was hit with liquid thrown by the occupant(s) of a passing car. It was later established that the liquid was bleach.
The offending vehicle is believed to have been burgundy in colour. The victim, a woman aged in her 20s received treatment at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, however her injuries were not serious.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or anyone with information concerning it to come forward.
