Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Denver yesterday (Sunday 5 July)
It happened at 10.58am on the A10 Lynn Road (near the golf club) and involved a grey Renault Captur and a red Triumph motorcycle.
The road was closed while emergency services attended. The rider of the motorbike, a man in his 70s, sustained serious injuries. He and was taken by air ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
The driver of the car, a man in his 90s, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He was taken to King’s Lynn Police Investigation Centre for questioning and was subsequently released under investigation.
The road reopened at 6pm.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the manner of driving of either vehicle beforehand. Anyone with any information or relevant dashcam footage is asked to get in touch quoting CAD 193 of 5 July.
