A new campaign is under way to remind people to keep within the law in West Norfolk over the festive period.
Police have launched a #KeepItChristmas campaign using social media and general guidance to remind people to keep themselves safe and keep an eye on their valuables.
Chief Superintendent Dave Buckley said: “Christmas is the time of year when many of us will spend well-deserved down-time, often with friends and family, and nobody deserves to have those memories spoilt.
“We will not tolerate the illegal behaviour of those who choose to commit crime, which impacts not only victims’ lives, but also their own, sometimes for a very long time. We want to do everything we can to support people to make sensible choices.
“We’ve all lived and worked through another challenging year, so let’s #KeepItChristmas and allow everyone the opportunity to enjoy themselves.”
