QEH Dermatology Department Moving to King’s Lynn Health Hub

Patients attending dermatology appointments at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn NHS Foundation Trust will soon be seen at a new location as the department relocates to the King’s Lynn Health Hub.

From 4 June, the hospital’s Dermatology Department will move from its current base within the main hospital to the purpose-built health facility on Cambridge Road, off Nar Ouse Way.

The specialist team provides care and treatment for a wide range of skin conditions and consists of 19 staff members, with capacity to see more than 400 new patients each month.

Hospital leaders say the move will give both patients and staff access to larger, dedicated clinical facilities, including specialist clinic rooms, procedure rooms and office space designed specifically for dermatology services.

The King’s Lynn Health Hub has been developed as a modern, accessible and digitally enabled facility, bringing a number of health and care services together in one location.

Dawn Collins, Interim Chief Nurse at The QEH, said the relocation would provide purpose-built clinical space to support the team in continuing to deliver expert care for skin conditions.

Carly West Burnham, Director of Strategy and Integration, said the move aligns with wider NHS plans to expand community-based healthcare services and would benefit both patients and staff.

Patients with upcoming appointments are being informed directly about the change of location.

The new address for the service is King’s Lynn Health Hub, Cambridge Road, off Nar Ouse Way, King’s Lynn, PE30 5FR. Hospital officials say the site offers ample free parking and is easily accessible by public transport.
