The Queen Elizabeth Hospital has won national praise for the way it put in a new digital system to speed up prescribing and make it easier for treatments to be approved.
The King’s Lynn site has got a national award by technology firm Imprivata for the efficient way it put the system in, which aims to improve things for both doctors and patients.
Nigel Hall, the hospital’s chief digital and information officer, said: ““We are absolutely delighted to win this national award. It is testament to the diligence and hard work of so many members of Team QEH who have worked so well together, with partners, to make this such a success.”
