Welcome to Radio West Norfolk, we are for West Norfolk from West Norfolk. We are local and live and breathe everything about where we live. We also aim to be engaging, entertaining, and the place to turn to when you want to know what’s happening here. We are thrilled to be broadcasting on DAB, App and Smart Speaker and online connecting communities and celebrating our amazing part of the World.
Radio West Norfolk is not just a radio station but a hub of creativity, information, and community spirit. From news updates and weather forecasts to interviews with local personalities/figures and you. Discussions on current events, publicising charitable activities and helping wherever we can.
Our mission is simple yet profound: to inform, inspire, and entertain our listeners while fostering a sense of unity and pride within West Norfolk. We strive to promote local talent, businesses, and events, ensuring that our community remains vibrant and connected. We aim to change people’s lives by helping our community.

Our national news is provided by Radio News Hub and our very own journalist who covers stories in our area. COMMUNITY – Discover inspiring stories and personalities from West Norfolk through our interviews, news, presenter content, your input, and features. We also try to help as many charities and community groups as we can, we do this both on and off the air with promotions, attending and hosting events such as Race for Life, GEAR 10k, Hanse Festival, Festival Too, Tulips for Tapping, Soapbox Derby, Battle of the Bands, Schools Make Music, Firework Displays, Christmas Lights and much more. Each year among our activities we organise a Toy Appeal and Easter Egg Appeal that benefits 60 local community groups. We most recently collected over £25,000 worth of toys and around 1800 eggs.
LOCAL EVENTS – Never miss out on local events, concerts, and festivals with our comprehensive events guide both online and on-air.
VOUCHERS – We provided many opportunities to Save Cash and Have Fun with discounted vouchers for shows at the theatre, meals, and events in our area.

COMPETITIONS – From time to time we will offer giveaways via competition within our shows.
MUSIC – Our playlist is updated weekly on a Friday, which means the newer songs are chopped are changed weekly, the rest of the playlist is from the ’80s till now with a sprinkling of 70’s and the VERY occasional song that’s older. All the songs on our radio station are feelgood with the intention you feel you can sing along. Unlike most radio stations our playlist is vast with over 2000 songs in rotation. – Songs to sing along to and local information all day along with your input makes us truly local.

SCHEDULE– All our programming is classed as ‘original output’ and broadcast first on Radio West Norfolk. You can see the current lineup, as per the last update on our website. Our schedule features many well-known West Norfolk names including Ryan Taylor, Dave King, Gary Ball and Simon Rowe.
STUDIOS and PRESENTERS– Our studios are based in Gaywood King’s Lynn and all of the presenters broadcast from their homes, with a show dedicated and specially for broadcast on Radio West Norfolk.

Complaints Procedure
If you have a complaint to make about Radio West Norfolk, in the first instance you should contact the Managing Director by emailing simon@radiowestnorfolk.co.uk
Your complaint will be dealt with by our complaints procedure and you can expect a response to your complaint in a timely fashion (within 7 days). If you are unhappy with the response you receive, you can also complain directly to our media regulator, Ofcom.
