King’s Lynn’s revamped speedway team will get together for the first time on March 10.
They will be having a behind-closed-doors team practice at the Adrian Flux Arena with the possibility of a social evening afterwards.
Last season’s team-members Richard Lawson, Lewi Kerr and Thomas Jorgnensen will be joined by former Grand Prix star Peter Kildemand, Sheffield star Josh Pickering, the returning Richie Worrall, and Rising Star rider Jack Thomas.
Boss Alex Brady is hopeful the team can all meet for the first time that day. He said: ““We’ve been very active though on the WhatsApp group between us all, and we’re building a real team ethos through this.
“There’s no substitute though for us all being together, so when Picko (Josh Pickering) lands in the UK at the beginning of March, we’ll be looking to get together as often as possible.”
Brady, who joined the club mid-way through last season, says his enthusiasm ahead of the new campaign is rated at 10 out of 10.
He said: “I’m really excited. I’ve honestly been going to bed thinking of speedway, waking up and it’s the first thing on my mind – it’s an obsession!
