Take the train to Hunstanton?

Do you remember trips to Hunstanton by train?  The line first opened in 1862 and it was a major part of Sunny Hunny becoming a seaside resort.  The service between the two towns eventually closed in May 1969, but now an online petition to reinstate the line between King’s Lynn and the town is gaining traction as traffic on the A149 gets worse every year.

The trackbed is still in place, and the petition on change.org to re-open the line to relieve traffic congestion now has over 6,000 signatures.
