West Norfolk Has Got Talent! A competition arranged by West Norfolk Academies Trust unearthed some performing gems and was a hit with a host of West Norfolk schools. A diverse range of talented students entered the virtual talent contest and the Trust’s Director Hayley Roberts says “There’s so much talent in West Norfolk and students who wouldn’t necessarily have the confidence on a stage felt comfortable submitting a video.”
Entrants included instrumentalists, dancers, singers and poetry recitals. The overall winner was young pianist Tom Doig, a Year 6 pupil at West Lynn Primary School.
Other worthy mentions were poetry reciters, who also attend Tom’s school, Amelia and Elsie King in 2nd place. Tap dancer Isobel Garside-Ansell from Gaywood Primary School danced into 3rd place.
