Morticia, Gomez, Pugsley, Lurch and Uncle Fester made a successful visit to West Norfolk.
They were all seen on stage during The Addams Family Musical, the annual production at Marshland High School in West Walton.
A total of 32 students took part in the show drawn from every year group and were involved in all aspects of the production, on and off stage.
“Besides the cast members, we had pupils involved in making and painting props and set, back stage, lighting and projections,” said Marshland’s Head of Drama, Jayne Dix, who directed the show. “We also had one involved with creating the green screen film.
“They loved every minute of it. The atmosphere in the green room pre- and post-show was lovely to be part of, with everyone helping one another with makeup and costume, and clearing up. They did themselves and the school so proud.”
“There were some challenges that the cast covered amazingly well,” continued Mrs Dix. “One highlight was when a technical issue was covered by the cast with Lurch taking a mic on the stage. Another was the laughter from the audience on the opening night and how the cast responded to this. The cast did an outstanding job and really enjoyed it.”
