Virtual Big Sing Back

Children across West Norfolk are joining together in song on June 21.

They will be among 35.000 pupils taking part in the event which is being streamed to schools around Norfolk.

They will be part of an interactive digital concert featuring stars including Mark Fehilly, Maisie Smith and Claire Sweeney.

It has been organised by a number of organisations including the Norfolk Music Hub, Viking Stage Lighting, Big Sky Creative, and Gresham’s School in Holt.

Daniel Elmer, Deputy Cabinet Member for Children’s Services at Norfolk County Council, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for children to join in song with some of their idols. By using technology, we can bring this concert direct to Norfolk’s classrooms and give children from anywhere in the county the chance to take part.

“Singing together is great for wellbeing, communication and language and the children will have great memories of joining in this concert. I hope they all have great fun.”
