The search is on for people to be firefighters in West Norfolk.
The county’s fire service is looking for 16 to be stationed across Norfolk. As well as responding to fires, they will also be trained to deal with a number of emergencies and also carry out prevention and protection work to keep people safe.
Margaret Dewsbury, the county councillor responsible for communities and partnerships, said: “We’re excited to be starting the search for Norfolk’s future firefighters as we move into a busy phase for our service.
“It takes a special someone to be a firefighter, but many people within our communities will already have the attributes we are looking for.”
Applications are open until May 29. You can find out more at www.norfolk.gov.uk/fire
