Two people and their dog who got cut off by the tide on Wells Beach have been rescued by the town’s volunteer lifeboat crew.
The stranded people were caught in tide up to their knees and the crew of the Peter Wilcox got to them within six minutes.
They were cold and wet but uninjured, and taken back to the boathouse to get warm and dry.
It was the fifth callout in 12 days for the town’s crew.
