A charity which helps bereaved children and young people has had a major funding boost.
Mintlyn Crematorium in King’s Lynn has donated £12,000 to Nelson’s Journey via the recycling of medical implants after cremation, with the consent of the family of the deceased.
The charity will use the money to help improve the emotional well-being of the children and young people in a variety of ways including therapeutic residential weekends, therapeutic one-to-one work, and guidance and education to parents, carers and professionals.
