Appeal After Wells Accident

A woman has been airlifted from the scene of a road accident in Wells.

She was riding a Kawasaki motorbike which was involved in a seven-vehicle collision on the B1105 on Wells Road.

The woman, who is in her 50s, suffered serious spinal and pelvic injuries and was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with serious injuries.

Other drivers involved in the incident suffered minor injuries.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the incident  – which happened just before 12 noon on Sunday February 27 – to come forward.
