Long stay black and black and white cats need caring homes who are being over looked.
Cats Protection’s {Cats protection Downham Market Adoption Centre} is appealing for new homes for their ‘long stayers black and black and white cats’, to free up pen spaces needed for more cats in need, we currently have over 100 cats on our waiting list.
The number of cats that have been with the charity for two months or longer currently stands at {14 these are all black and black and white}.
{Leah Snowden and the rest of the team} at the {Downham Market} are keen to stress that cats that have been in their care longer and that are black and black and white have just as much love to give and make equally good companions as any other cats.
“If you are able to adopt a cat please get in touch as we’d love to show you the beautiful long stay cats we have that are desperate for a loving home,” says {Leah Snowden – Rehoming and Welfare Assistant}.
Long stay cats currently at the {Downham Adoption Centre} some of the cats who are in desperate need of new homes include {Johnny , 1yr 3months – black – super gorgeous and cuddly, Ruby, 5 yr 4 months old, really playful, friendly and loves the outdoors, Pudding, white and black,10 years 7 months, loving nature – a true cuddle bug Effi, Black and white, 13 years old- outgoing, enjoys all things cat and likes human company. Pina Colada- Black, long haired beauty, 1 yr 8 months old. Was a stray who is looking for a home to call her own}.
“Nobody wants these poor cats to stay here longer than they have to but sadly they have nowhere else to go until they are adopted,” said {Leah Snowden}. “Although we do our very best to care for them, life in a cat pen is no substitute for a permanent home so I would urge people to consider adopting one.
“Owners adopting from Cats Protection have the peace of mind that their cat will have been examined by a veterinary surgeon, microchipped, vaccinated, neutered if old enough and will also come with four weeks’ free insurance. We provide these benefits and treatments so people don’t have to worry about them following adoption, which is a big plus for money-conscious owners.”
