17th January 2022 – Andy Nicol, Scout Leader at Runcton Holme is hoping to raise the money needed to purchase two very much need defibrillators for their hut and the village.  Currently, should there be an emergency the nearest accessible equipment is at Watlington Village Hall or in Downham Market!  Have a listen and learn more about the 2nd Runcton Holme and Watlington Scout Group along with how they plan to get the money.



18th January 2022 – Sadie from West Acre Theatre spoke to Si about life at their beautiful theatre, some of the events and how it’s used.  Also, find out about their open audition days taking place this Sunday. Whether you have experience already or would like to give it a go, the open auditions are the place to start. Run as workshops, these sessions will give you a chance to show us what you can do whilst having a great time and meeting new, like-minded people. You can get an insight into their coming season, performance dates and rehearsal schedules, allowing you advanced knowledge of what you’re letting yourselves in for!


19th January 2022 – The Fairstead Community Shop is expanding.  Emma from the shop has always lent a helping hand to anyone that needs it, and now with even more people to help she needs you even more!  Can you spare an hour a week to help her in the shop, to help others? The shop provides food parcels, isolation calls, Mother and baby packs, supports families in crisis, offers benefits advice and so much more.



20th January 2022 – You are Important – This project in Wisbech is creating works of art based on the concept of  ‘You are Important’. These artworks will feature different languages celebrating the cultural diversity of Wisbech. The works, which will be created using a range of contemporary art practices, will appear across Wisbech town centre and will provide a unique and positive experience for everyone who views them.  The man behind it all is Tim Mann.
