Police Hunt Building Site Thieves

Police are hunting thieves who stole equipment worth more than £50,000 from a West Norfolk building site.

It was taken from Bexwell Road in Downham Market sometime between 6pm on Monday May 9 and 6.45am the following morning.

The front fence of the building was smashed open and the good taken included a fuel bowser/tank containing 2000 litres of diesel, a large amount of heavy-duty hand tools and two air conditioning units.

Anyone with information or who witnessed the incident should contact PC Alexander Edwards at Norfolk Constabulary on 101 quoting reference 36/34544/22.
