It has been a year of challenges for the team at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn.
They have pulled together some statistics to show the scale of work they have done and to highlight their achievements.
The figures show Team QEH:
Delivered 115,000 vaccinations
Invested over ÂŁ30 million into our hospital estate
Saw 71,940 patients in the Emergency Department
Wore 19.94 million items of PPE
Gave 120,000 Radiology scans
Delivered 1,970 babies
Served 437,040 patient meals
Enrolled 1,692 patients onto research trials
Carried out 8,743 operations
Our staff worked 179,673 hours
Caroline Shaw CBE, hospital chief executive, said: “These numbers are just one way to demonstrate the scale of what we have achieved at QEH over the last year.
“I’m proud that despite facing many pressures, Team QEH has pulled together and their dedication and focus has enabled us to move one step closer to achieving our ambition to become the best rural District General Hospital for patient and staff experience.”
