The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn (QEH) has now delivered over 100,000 vaccinations since the start of its COVID-19 vaccination programme.
It is now accelerating its booster drive at both its vaccination hub on the QEH site and an additional centre at Downham Market Town Hall.
The QEH team has already given over 70 per cent of their colleagues a booster and is also ramping up giving out doses to over-18s.
Caroline Shaw CBE, Chief Executive at QEH, said: “To reach this milestone is a fantastic achievement. I’m incredibly proud of the way that Team QEH has pulled together throughout the busiest time in the history of QEH – and the wider NHS – to deliver a vaccination programme which has been central to our fight against COVID-19 and keeping our patients, staff and local community safe.”
