Ewan Harris is West Norfolk’s new member of the Youth Parliament.
He won his place competing against 26 other candidates and will spend two years in office.
Ewan (pictured on the far right above), who will represent the North West Norfolk area, campaigned for more resources, activities and spaces for young people, better mental health services, and 16-year-olds having the right to vote.
The 17-year-old Springwood Sixth Form student said: “As a Youth Parliament Member I hope to make positive change and improve things for young people in my area and beyond.”
He will get the chance to debate in the House of Commons and also work with MPs and councillors.
